I want to start by saying THANK YOU to the countless individuals who have supported Stoney's Kindness Fund since it began three years ago. The caring and compassion you've shown to donate towards this fund is greatly appreciated. However, the work isn't done yet.

During #GivingTuesday we need your help to raise additional funds for Stoney's Kindness Fund, which is now an ENDOWED FUND with The Community Foundation for Crawford County. If you're so inclined and are able, please follow this link to make your donation today - https://cfcrawford.networkforgood.com/ - click on "Donate" and please type "Stoney's Kindness Fund" in the Note for Donor Scroll section.

Chuck Stone, or “Stoney” as many knew him, was a helper. Whether it was coaching football and track at Bucyrus High School or leading a team of volunteers in building the press box at the Bucyrus High School Football stadium, you could always find him helping. Upon his untimely passing, many talked about how kind Stoney was to those he met. His students, current and former, teaching colleagues, teammates, and community members who knew him well, all agree that Chuck’s kindness was something that defined him.
Stoney’s Kindness Fund was started as a means to help children in the Bucyrus City Schools who may be facing similar challenges to those that Chuck faced growing up. The goal of this fund is to provide financial support directly to these children through the Community Foundation for Crawford County and the Bucyrus City Schools.
Funds, which will be dispersed to the district annually prior to the start of each new school year, will be used to help purchase items like school supplies, clothing, and personal hygiene items. The funds can also be used to help pay class fees, purchase needed sporting equipment, and any other items deemed necessary by Bucyrus City Schools’ social workers and school counselors to help Bucyrus children succeed.

GIVE TODAY!

There is a total of $35,000 available in a pro-rated matching pool thanks to our Board of Trustees, The Mason Companies, Geenex Solar, ADM Benefit Plans Agency, Inc., the Hord Family Donor Advised Fund of TCF4CC, and the Carter Family Donor Advised Fund. What does this mean? Every donation on #Giving2sday generates an additional donation to the fund(s) of the donor's choice.

When making a donation, indicate in the donor scroll to what fund(s) you would like your donation to go. If you give on my page and do not indicate a fund or funds in the donor scroll, your donation will go towards the fund that I am supporting.
