The Bucyrus Backpack Program, LLC has been providing weekend meals to Crawford County students since 2013. This year over 500 students attending 11 county schools are receiving weekend meal bags weekly. Our cost is about $ 2,500.00 weekly. Please help provide food for one weekend this year. About 98% of our annual budget buys food items. Follow our Facebook page to see the meals going home weekly.

There is a total of $35,000 available in a pro-rated matching pool thanks to our Board of Trustees, E-Z-GO (a Textron Company), The Mason Companies, Ehrhart's Party Store, Geenex Solar, ADM Benefit Plans Agency, Inc., and the Hord Family Donor Advised Fund of TCF4CC. What does this mean? Every donation on #Giving2sday generates an additional donation to the fund(s) of the donor's choice.

In order for gifts to be eligible to receive this additional donation from the Foundation, the donation must…

be made ONLINE from now through December 3rd, 2024. (Indicate in the donor scroll what fund(s) you would like your gift to support.)

be dated December 3rd, 2024 if a check. Simply mail or drop off your check in the secure mailbox behind the Foundation at 254 E. Mansfield Street, Bucyrus, OH 44820. Staff will be checking the mailbox regularly. Checks should be made payable to The Community Foundation for Crawford County or TCF4CC. If you are closer to Crestline or Galion, drop off your donation at the Crestline Public Library or the Galion-Crestline Chamber of Commerce between 11am-1pm on #Giving2sday, December 3rd.
