Stand with me and support Rescued Rollers who fights to make the world a better place for special-needs animals every single day. They give so much to our community – let's make sure they are here for good, forever.

Last year the COVID-19 pandemic caused many of our community nonprofits to experience financial hardship from which they are still recovering. In addition, many of our nonprofits are completely staffed by volunteers, and in some cases, operate on a shoestring budget.

The Crawford County nonprofit I am supporting is Rescued Rollers. They specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating and finding good homes for special-needs dogs. They also work to educate and assist other rescues, shelters and individuals caring for special needs animals. Any donations made through my fundraising page will go to this organization.

They are in desperate need of a new transport vehicle to get their special pups to the medical specialists they need to see in distant cities, daily vet visits, and the transportation of special-needs pups coming into their rescue from across the country and as far away as The Bahamas. Their current vehicle has become unreliable and unsafe.

To help support their fellow local nonprofits in their for good missions, the Community Foundation for Crawford County is launching a 2-day online giving event, #CrawfordForGood, designed to get much-needed operating funds into their hands as soon as possible.

This year, the Foundation will be matching donations raised online on a pro-rated basis from a pool of $10,000 being offered by our Board of Trustees, the Hord Family Donor Advised Fund, and the Carter Family Donor Advised Fund. Donations must be given online during the 2-day event (July 27th - July 28th) to be eligible for the pro-rated match.

Generosity has the power to unite and heal communities in good times and bad. We are presented with a perfect opportunity to come together again as a community.

Please give to support my chosen nonprofit on July 27th through July 28th. No amount is too small, and all gifts are appreciated!

Be a part of the solution - show your support and rally to do good for good!
